Clearfield Farm, Granville Vermont

You can find John and Melissa on Clearfield Farm in Granville, nestled in the White River Valley, hugging both sides of RT 100, just down the road from Sugarbush Ski Resort. Their 56 acre farm was once home to Gene Bagley’s Registered Jerseys, and John and Melissa lovingly transformed it into Clearfield Farm in 2016. It is a certified organic vegetable and cut flower farm with a focus on quality and accessibility. Clearfield supplies VFA with Napa cabbage, daikon, cilantro, leeks, scallions, turnips, cauliflower and cucumbers for fermenting. John and Melissa are an important members of our Vermont farming community, and, wow, they are great friends too. Veg lovers can find their produce year-round at Mehuron’s Market or at the Waitsfield Farmers’ Market from May – October. Be sure to ask them about their CSA and custom floral arrangements.
